Jeff Loper's Turbo-Busa Dragbike
This bike was originally built by NTR with a carbureted GPZ motor and ZX11 bodywork. The bike looked good but it only ran mid 9's. After a season or two Jeff found the key to his wallet and the bike was rebuilt with a turbo-Hayabusa motor. This required a refitting of the front half of the bike. A new body was also installed. The motor is still stock and the turbo makes 8 lbs of boost. With some tuning left to do on the MegaSquirt efi system, the bike has run 8.59 @ 159 mph. It should get into the 8.30's soon.
